Instructions for deleting your Charted account

How to Delete Your Account

Music Wars LLC, the developer of Charted, provides two methods for users to request account deletion:

Method 1: In-App Settings

  1. Open the Charted app on your device
  2. Navigate to Settings from the main menu
  3. Scroll down to Account Management
  4. Tap on Delete Account
  5. Confirm your decision when prompted
  6. Your account deletion request will be processed immediately

Method 2: Email Request

  1. Send an email to support@musicwars.app
  2. Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  3. Include your account email address or username in the message
  4. Our support team will process your request within 48 hours
  5. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted

What Data is Deleted

Data That Will Be Deleted:

  • Your account profile and login credentials
  • Your artist persona, including name, appearance, and customizations
  • All in-game progress, including chart positions and achievements
  • Your music releases, playlists, and streaming statistics
  • Social interactions, followers, and fan engagement data
  • In-app purchases and virtual currency balances
  • Personal preferences and settings

Data That May Be Retained:

  • Transaction records for legal and accounting purposes (up to 7 years as required by law)
  • Anonymized analytics data that cannot be linked back to you
  • Data required to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes

Retention Period:

Most personal data is deleted immediately upon account deletion. Transaction records and legally required data may be retained for up to 7 years as mandated by applicable laws and regulations.

Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your progress, purchases, and data will be lost. Please ensure you want to proceed before requesting deletion.
